City Staff, Weber Community Planning, and a citizen's steering committee have completed a draft of a new comprehensive plan for the City of Big Lake. This draft is being released for a public comment period prior to official public hearings that will take place in late spring and early summer 2018.
The draft comprehensive plan is divided into two sections:
Chapters 1-9 are an "Analysis of Conditions" that describes existing conditions in the City in regards to land use, transportation, parks, demographics, and several other topics.
Chapters 10-17 are the "Comprehensive Plan Chapters" which establish the City's formal policy goals and lay out a roadmap for achieving those goals over the next twenty years.
