Lakeside Park Daily Pass
Metered parking is in effect daily from May through October each year. Parking is enforced by the Big Lake Police Department and all proceeds go toward maintaining the park. Below are instructions on how to use the Lakeside Park parking meter:
  1. Enter your parking stall number
  2. Deposit payment for applicable parking type (only debit-credit cards accepted)
    1. Vehicle: $5 per day
    2. Vehicle & Trailer: $15 per day
  3. Take your receipt
  4. Display receipt on the dash of your vehicle

Lakeside Park Seasonal Passes

Vehicle Only: $10 (city resident)
Vehicle & Trailer: $20 (city resident)
Vehicle Only: $30 (non-resident)
Vehicle & Trailer: $40 (non-resident)

*City Resident: person(s) living within City limits
*Non-Resident: person(s) living outside City limits
Seasonal passes are available for purchase at City Hall, Lake Liquors or by following the instructions below:

Seasonal Pass Application and Payment Instructions:
Click Here for the Lakeside Park Seasonal Pass Application. After the application is filled out, you can either:
  • Email to Julie Rathmanner or Deb Wegeleben and pay online by clicking the "make a payment" button at bottom of page;
  • Mail to City Hall: 160 Lake St N, Big Lake, MN 55309, and pay by sending a check or money order with application;
  • Or bring to City Hall during regular office hours. 

Parking/Driving Rules & Regulations 

Vehicles, including motorcycles, must park/drive only in the designated areas. Beware of restricted parking areas (handicapped, no parking, etc.). Watch for children. 

Boats must remain 150 feet away from swimming area.

No lifeguard on duty. Swim only in the buoyed area.

Pavilion Areas
There are two Park Pavilion areas available for rental at Lakeside Park. Click Here for information on how to rent a Park Pavilion.
