All data request costs are available on the City of Big Lake Fee Schedule. All fees must be paid in advance of a data request being processed, Records Staff will provide you information on how payment can be made. Any questions can be directed to our Records Staff at 763-251-2996, or records@biglakepolice.com.
Report a Bus Arm Violation
For bus drivers requesting criminal charges of violations.
Request for Ride Along
The Big Lake Police Department fields requests to accompany an Officer on duty through the below form. Our ride along policy generally limits these requests to; law enforcement and public safety partners, criminal justice students enrolled in an accredited program, and those with a legitimate purpose for accompanying our Officers. In order to make this request you must be; 18 years of age, no criminal conviction, no pending criminal action, and all other actions in which a supervisor would find unsuitable to accompany a Big Lake Police Officer in their official capacity.
Request for Police Patches
Due to expense and security concerns, we are unable to honor requests for uniform patches or other department insignia by memorabilia collectors. We will be unable to return unsolicited patches sent to us.
